About Hitchery

Hitchery is a mobile hitchhiking game that lets players create "hitchers" - virtual characters that have adventures around the world by hitching rides on players' phones. In Hitchery, your phone becomes a "bus" that you can use to pick up hitchers and bring them with you on your travels, dropping them off at real-world places when you choose. Then other players can pick them up when they are nearby.

Hitchers can have goals like "get to San Francisco" or "collect pictures of dogs", which drivers help them to achieve.

You always know where your hitchers are, whether they're in a place like a cafe or museum, or riding on someone's bus.

When your hitchers are on someone's bus, you can send messages back and forth with the driver, and when your hitchers are in the same place as other players' hitchers, you can also talk with them in real time.

You can also take photos with your passengers, which are saved to each hitcher's scrapbook as a record of their journey and the time you share with them.

We're excited for you to try Hitchery for your Android or iPhone. Please get in touch if you have any questions, comments, or feedback.
